Odds On First Black Bachelorette in 25 Years
Misee Harris, a Tennessee native and burgeoning celebrity much followed on the web these days, is hoping to become the first black “Bachelorette” ever on ABC’s reality dating show of the same name.
Bucking The Trend
“Misee,” as she is known to her friends, just happens to be young, hip, beautiful, smart and, is also a practicing pediatric dentist. All at 28. She is also hoping to buck the trend of these last 25 years and become the first – that’s right, the first – black Bachelorette on this long running reality TV show.
Dilemma
Now, the betting man has two ways of looking at her story: First, it is worth noting that odds-wise, the fact that up to now there has been nothing but white Bachelorettes on the show presents a major roadblock facing Dr. Harris.
But secondly, perhaps her growing notoriety is a sign that things are changing, and after a quarter of a century the time is right for Misee to get her wish.
So, when the program resumes next season, odds are high that this particular slice of Americana will become betting fodder for the likes of prominent online gaming casinos such as William Hill Sports.
And speaking of TV Sports Betting, why not check William Hill, online gaming’s hottest spot, for sports odds ranging from “The X Factor” to “Sports Personality of the Year” to “Dancing on Ice.”
As of right now, for example, Scotland’s favorite lad is listed at 2/1 to win the title of “Sports Personality of the Year,” ahead of Alastair Cook and Chris Froom, who both post at 7/1.
And while there you can take a gander at “Dancing on Ice” and see who is likely to tumble and who the odds favor to come out on top this year – Matt, Gareth or Beth?
Odds are that those with a hankering will be checking out William Hills Sports on all the various sports to place bets on, where the list of sports to bet on is unending, and the opportunities are better than ever!
